Yet Another Wrench

Staying positive is somewhat difficult when it always seems that people are unintentionally/intentionally doing things to throw wrenches in your path.  We made the decision to sell the GTI, a car Butterfinger has had since 0 miles, to give us a one-up on our impending move.  We thought we had made the decision to give Mounds a deal and sell him the car - saving him some cash, and saving ourselves the agony of dealing with potential buyers.  But alas, to fit into this week’s motif of dropping atomic bombs, Mounds just waltzed back here and told us he found another car that he is buying, tomorrow. Rehoming Dog Because of Move, Allergies, Small Yard, and New Baby

Here is my response to all of the people getting rid of their dogs for all the wrong reasons:

Judging by the majority of ads I painfully read on Craigslist each and every day from people with one excuse or another as to why they need to give up their dog, it does seem that there is not much time put into the decision to get an animal in the first place. A dog, cat, lizard, ferret, or a mouse is a living, breathing, and most of all, FEELING creature, and should not be subjected to abandonment because of a careless owner’s own selfishness. (more…)
