I found a great website yesterday through Bzz Agent’s Frogpond that I really think everyone should spend some time exploring.  It’s called We Are What We Do, and the site focuses on bringing attention to the way our small actions affect our world and the way we live. You can sign up for a profile on the site to keep track of all the positive “actions” you have done, and also use it to connect with people in your area to organize bigger events for your community.  (more…)

As most of you already know, before we moved to the new house, we did not have television for roughly a year or so. At first this was very disturbing to me, as I was still in the mindset of return from work, make dinner, become a zombie in front of the boob tube until bed, only to wake up and do it all over again. The only way to free myself from the media box’s evil clutches was to completely detach myself and find other, more constructive means, of spending time; leading to the birth of this blog you all adore so much:) It has been a hard road, this is the first year I did not see a single episode of American Idol, and I am now officially 1 season behind in House, but I have never been happier.
