I spent some time going through my photos over the weekend, and put together a little walking tour of the town where I grew up. Enjoy!

Good pics! Haven’t been to Canon Hill in years, guess I don’t need to go now.
Nah, you should still make a trek up there. In fact, when I was up I forgot to check and see if the canons were still actually up there – so you have to let me know!
The canons are still there, Mandie. We live underneath in the S. Reading Avenue row homes still. You’d think that would make my property value go up, right? Take Care, Carrie Dunlap (formerly Blacklock; Larry and Monica!)
Wow, I can’t believe they are still there! Last time I saw them they were crumbling to bits – have they restored them or…?
Thanks for leaving me a message; you take care too
Me and my mom love history and we have this book and it shows the cannons so we went to see if they r still there and we couldn’t find them ! We were so upset ! Could u explain where they r ?
The cannons are still there Nicole
Here is a Google Maps link to where you may find them – https://maps.google.com/maps?q=Boyertown,+PA&hl=en&ll=40.326393,-75.641996&spn=0.003562,0.008256&sll=40.122546,-75.442688&sspn=0.914642,2.113495&oq=boyer&t=h&hnear=Boyertown,+Berks,+Pennsylvania&z=18 They are going to be to the left of those two giant water towers, at the top of the cemetery on a hill. Check back and let me know how you make out
Sometimes B-town looks better in pictures than real life.
I’m sure B-town isn’t the only town for which that is a truth…
I was also lucky to have a few absolutely perfect blue sky days to take these pictures – the skies certainly do not always have such a wondrous glow.
Thank you for taking these pictures of Boyertown. That is where I grew up and Graduated from . Good old Cannon Hill as young kids we believed it was haunted.
Iezzies has the best Pizza for sure. Talaricos, I can smell the hoagies just thinking about it. Driving from the top of town down Phila Ave brings back a lot of wonderful memories for sure.
It is wonderful to get back home ‘about once a year.
Thank you again
Cynthia
I am so happy to hear you enjoyed the pictures as much as I enjoyed visiting and taking them
I love these pictures.
You got some really good shots!
