Here is a short clip of the baby skunks that have been hanging out near my house for the past few days. It seems as though they keep multiplying… The first couple of times I only saw one, then today I saw two, and just a few minutes ago I saw THREE of them go strolling by the front door. Anyone have any idea how many skunklet babies a momma skunk has at one time?!
Hopefully my neighborhood is simply a baby skunk breeding ground and not a place where skunks choose to live their skunky adult lives…
how nice! new friends for Tucker & Guapo.
Start stocking up on tomato juice.
oh my god they’re so f’n cute (though surely appealing, moving dog toys for the fur-kids). Who is that brave soul (or the soul with the lapse in judgment) that walked right next to them? Is the assumption that these are domesticated stinkers and have no interest in squirting potentially dangerous passer-bys?
The person walking by in the video is my neighbor – he had been standing there for a bit snapping photos of them with his phone before heading back to his house. In case the video is deceiving, I was actually really close to them too (the camera wasn’t zoomed in at all). As for the spraying potential – I guess for me the cuteness outweighed the risk of a tomato juice bath, haha.
I wonder if they sell tomato juice by the case at Sam’s Club…
