It has been almost one year since Tucker had his cranial cruciate repair surgery to fix his doggy knee, and lightning seems to have struck twice. As of last evening, Tucker has begun limping and holding up his ‘good leg’, causing me a great deal of concern. I want to avoid surgery if at all possible, and beginning today Tucker will be getting some wonderful canine downers, along with being restricted to the basement. I hate to do this to him. I hate that dog knees are not constructed perfectly. I hate to see the look on his face when he is all doped up and has no clue why he is not allowed to come upstairs and cuddle on the couch with his people.
This is not exactly the kick in the ass I wanted to get back into blogging, but life works in mysterious ways and I have found my way back. I will most likely be spending the next few days looking up information for Dog Knee Injury, but expect to see some words on here as well. Send some good thoughts our way for Mr. Tucker
