Zeitgeist II: Addendum Movie

Today the second Zeitgeist movie was released, Zeitgest: Addendum, and I am confident that it will answer most if not all of the lingering questions that remain in everyone’s minds concerning the way Butterfinger and I choose to live our lives. Are you wondering why we let our house foreclose?  Want to know why Butterfinger simply stopped paying his high interest rate credit cards?  Curious as to why we think it is so important to be able to work for ourselves without relying on a giant corporation?  Still pondering why a lot of my posts equate money and capitalism to slavery?  Are you finally ready to find out why living with less ‘stuff’ and the banishment of materialism are so important to our society?   I encourage everyone to set aside 123 minutes this weekend to watch the film, and pass it along to anyone you think it will help.

Consider the non-fiction account below before you view this film.

June 2006:  My fiance, Butterfinger, watched the first Zeitgeist movie and after thoroughly exploring and researching the topics presented in the film, his conclusion was to discontinue his contributions to what he felt was a “corrupted system”.  Butterfinger’s uncovering of information lead to a complete removal from what most consider to be the ‘status quo’.

August 2006:  Butterfinger quit his cushy corporate job in Information Technology and VoIP engineering.  He returned his artificially inflated half million dollar house by allowing it to forclose and become repossesed by Chase Morgan bank.  He ceased all monthly payments to any credit card companies.  Butterfinger had made a decision to live from this point forward without relying on access to debt through his credit rating or credit score, which he had used ignorantly under previous false pretenses.  By his own will, in an effort to become part of the solution, not part of the problem, he gave these jigsaw pieces back to their creators after visualizing what the completed puzzle would look like.  Finally, enough of the current “system” was revealed and understood by Butterfinger and this destroyed the foundation which he and had built his live and time around.  Butterfinger’s decision was going to require sacrificing certain things from his old way of life, but hardships would not deter his conviction .
