Is it just me, or is this guy on CNN 20 hours a day?! I barely even get a chance to watch TV, but in the off moments when I am in the presence of a magical media box, it never ceases to amaze me the ease with which you can find Wolf’s glorious mug. In between ads for pharmaceuticals you do not need and cars you will never drive, there he is, ready to egg on all his guests in the Situation Room. It is the same on the internet, I can not read any CNN political coverage without his beady, blue eyes staring back at me. I am often distracted by his gaze, preferring to move to the safer sections of CNN like entertainment, where I can read about the latest celebrity tryst or overdose without his questioning glare.
I am convinced that he is not really a human. It is the name that gives it away – Wolf Blitzer. The name is just too much for one person to carry on their own. Wikipedia claims that it is a name that was passed down to him from his grandfather, which leads me to believe that there is a long line of bionic Blizters preceding the Wolf we know today. No actual person could spend 20 hours a day on a cable news channel and maintain his role as moderator; it is just not possible. Not to mention, his marathon newscasting inevitably holds us all up to a higher standard of sleep deprivation, as we are expected to follow his political coverage well into the wee hours of the morning.
Until I watch any further coverage done by a one, Wolf Blitzer, I am requesting that some x-rays, a CT scan and blood analysis be performed. If I wanted my news from an automated source I would choose Bloomberg, but I prefer the intimate nature of a person providing me with the news I require. Wolf, take this as you will, but you just seem too perfect to actually exist. While most of the CNN anchors, like the recently fired Tucker Carlson, manage to put their foot in their big mouthes at least once per day, you are always a non-partisan voice of reason, prodding your guests with questions to get the right answers. I will get to the bottom of this.
You know, you wouldn’t have this problem if you spent more time watching FOX news…..
I just heard you mention some of what Michelle Obama will say. I hope the carseat is in the right direction. How could her little girl see her if the seat faces the back.

You should absolutely be ashamed to call yourself a news reporter or have anything to do with reporting the news. Your show has nothing to do with “the news” or providing well researched, objective, fair minded journalism. Does your program even have reporters? Or do you only staff video tape editors who screen other broadcasts for the benefit of your candidate? But, perhaps you already know that. I can not believe our news has been hijacked by individuals and programs like yours who are only interested in pushing their platform and agenda. Oh, what weak minded rhetoric we have come to? I am embarrassed for you and those who would benefit or gain from your ratings.
Tonight’s Fox program and your interview with Governor Palin was like watching an 8th grader talk to his new steady girlfriend. Your were star struck. Were your questions as rehearsed, leading and topical to the latest daily sound bite as they seemed? Was this for Sarah’s benefit? Would you have been so respectful and consolatory to Senator Biden? Congratulations, you and the company who owns you have tapped into an audience who is more interested in celebrity than journalism, politicizing rather than governing, and minimizing the importance of the highest office in the land, President and Vice President of the United States rather than examining the qualifications of the individuals who would run our country.
I am not buying and I am not interested.
