Or better yet, smoking while they are holding their newborn!!!! That to me is 100 times worse than any doggie licking a baby's face!! Some people are just idiots!!! Sorry your post was flagged, I thought it was great, it should have gotten some people thinking. If you cannot handle a puppy, you are in for a big awakening when your baby arrives. When we brought "Little Syd" home from the hospital - her daddy brought her right down to Kay's level and they had their first introduction. From then on Kay knew she had someone new to protect. As far as the idiot that got rid of their dog because it licked the baby's face - research shows that children that are exposed to dogs in that way actually have a lower incidence of allergies, asthma and colds. You’re absolutely right – people need to introduce the baby to the dog.
