Today is the first day in months that I actually have to leave the house and converse with someone I am not already acquainted. Not only do I have to make conversation with this person, it would probably be in my best interest to “sell” myself to this person as they are the publisher for a national physician magazine, and I would like the opportunity to do some freelance work for them. Predictably, I woke up this morning with the type of sore throat that extends deep into the gut; searing my innards from my tonsils to my appendix. I just hope I can get this interview in before the pain starts to seep into other regions of my body, further crippling my physical and mental prowess.
We will see what happens, keep your fingers crossed that it is not some kind of scam (after-all, I did find the ad on Craigslist). I will give you an update tomorrow, but for now Worthington and I need to get some other site work done – yes, I am pleased to announce he made a full recovery after his swim yesterday morning.
