Is it real or not?  Who knows…  You would think the airline personnel would ask, “Are you Mr. Gay”, instead of using an indefinite article, but then again maybe they are trained to treat people as cattle-like as possible to complement the seating inside the tube of the plane.  At the end it really starts getting silly with more passengers standing up for gay rights on the plane, as if the flight attendants are incapable of clarifying the fact that they were calling someone gay in a surname.

A poor surname is hard to avoid, and my take away moral to this story is that Mr. Gay should feel blessed that his parents did not pick an equally awful first name to go with his easily misunderstood last name.  The parents of these children should have used a bit of discretion in the naming process of their newscaster and police officer sons - Rod Wood and Mike Hunt.
