Discrimination at Wal Mart

Today I was made aware of an incident that happened at a Wal Mart in Southern California in February of this year. A woman took her dog, a pit bull in training to become a service dog, adorned with the official red vest and all, into her local Wal Mart store and was told to leave by the customer service manager. The pit bull, Chloe, and her owner were forced to leave the store on the basis that she was more than likely vicious, unstable, and they were concerned for the many children in the store. This incident hereby places Wal Mart on the ever-growing list of retail stores I will no longer frequent. (more…)

All Apologies

I have been noticeably lax with my posting this past week, but do not worry, Thursday is my last day at work and I have a good feeling that will allow me more free time to write quality posts. I also decided that I am going to start writing a book as soon as we get enough money in the laptop fund. I am thinking that a good working title could be “StartMeUp - A Slightly Exaggerated Autobiographical Memoir of a Startup Engagement Company” or maybe “Entreprengaged - A Slightly Exaggerated Autobiographical Memoir of My Startup Life”. Pretty sure it is going to be a ‘tell all’ account, I figure I should get started on it now since its going to take me awhile to get caught up to the present time, haha. (more…)
